We will be having talks from two of our members, Steve Williams and Allan Pan, who will present a “Who am I” and then show photos from some recent trips that they have both undertaken. Steve has been hiking in the high country, and Allan has had an overseas holiday.
A presentation by Noel Butcher, who will talk about his career as a photo journalist, and also what he looks for when judging photos for competitions. Noel is a member of the Knox Photographic Society and recently judged one of our competitions.

Come dressed in your best Roaring 20”s outfits, for a fun fancy dress portrait shoot. It doesn’t have to be a full costume, but maybe hats, scarves, jackets, anything reminiscent of 1920’s fashion.
Splash Photography. Learn how to capture fast moving objects, which settings to use, etc. Bring along a clear glass vase or similar and something to drop into it- perhaps fruit, a ball, whatever takes your fancy. We will take it in turns to drop the objects into the water.
