Hi all, subject to the vagaries of the weather we are going to hold an Astro Photography session at Martin’s place on Thursday the 14th November. The main reason is that he has a reasonably open area with minimal light pollution
Attached below is a map/image of his property. No 4 is the second driveway on your right coming down Coopers road from Tschampions Road. Parking will be on the arena above the house. Just come up the drive way and go between the shed and the stables. You cannot miss it!
Please note later starting time, sunset is at 8.06, last light at 8.36.
Martin has a big open area where, depending on weather conditions, we can have an astronomical shoot. If the skies aren’t clear, which we won’t know until closer to the night, we will have a back up plan of Light Painting.
For those that have not done this before, it is great fun, and involves slow shutter speeds and twirling lights and flaming objects, creating some spectacular images.
For both astro and light painting, a tripod is essential.
For those interested in doing Star Trails click here for a presentation on this subject.
If the weather is totally unsuitable for outdoor pursuits, we will have a second back up plan and meet at the Hub.
