Trip to Melbourne at sunset
A small number of the club went to Melbourne recently for a sunset shoot. Most of us met at Princess Pier by Flinders Street Station and a couple went to Docklands.
Those of us at Princess Pier re-met up again later for a drink at one of the Fed Squares cafes before heading back home again. Was a really pleasant evening and the images we shot will be eligible for our next photo comp at end of April.
Competition Judging
Our first club competition judging was held recently on Thursday 13th October at our club rooms in Emerald.
We had 59 entries from 15 members with 25 images receiving a Commended or Highly Commended. Congratulations to all involved.
We thank our visiting judge, David Norris, who attended and critiqued all 59 images verbally, giving members an opportunity to learn more about improving on their photography skills. He also offered to send the critiques to those interested.
