Portraiture & Photographing Emotions – Workshop

As part of our inaugural exhibition we are running this free workshop 

This workshop will be presented by Hills Photographic Society members Paul Bianco, Allan Pan and Wayne Pollard with a focus on portraiture, this will be a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in order to create better portraits, be they just family members and pets or portraits for business purposes. We shall take you through a number of principles and skills, including :

• posing and composition,
• lighting – including natural, speedlights, reflectors, studio lighting and everyday household lights.
• photographer-subject communication.

The approach will two-fold – one, to create natural portraits and two, to attempt to capture emotion.

The workshop is designed for those using cameras, Regardless of your level of expertise, this workshop will open new ideas and help you take your photos to the next level.

This will be an interactive workshop focusing on conveying emotions in photography
