March Photo Competition Night – Open Theme

Your choice, Your Topic, Show us what you enjoy taking photos of.

On the night there will be a judge organised by our competition steward, it is always an interesting night to hear what judges notes are on the photos even if you don’t have photos in the competition.

Anyone is welcome to attend the evening, however only members may enter.

Remember, to attend in person you must follow the Cardinia Council protocols – you must:

* be double-vaccinated and be able to show the certificate, 

* sign in using the QR code reader on your phone, or physically fill in your details on the form provided

* wear a mask. unless eating or drinking  and 

* bring your own drink and a snack, if you want one.

Maximum of 4 images per person, colour or black and white.

The maximum dimensions are 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Colour space is to be sRGB and the image is to be in the jpeg format. Images should named like this: 01-1021-nameoffile.jpg, meaning: membership number – month and year – name of file.jpg.

If you don’t know how to resize your images please go to https://bulkresizephotos.com/en, upload your four images and then use the Image Dimensions option. This is a very useful tool. Tip: If you make your shortest side 1080px it generally means that the longest side ends up less than 1920px on the longest side.

Deadline for Entries Thursday 3rd of March 2022.

Entries are now closed – start planning for April. And feel free to submit when ready.
