August Competition – Architecture

Our August Competition is on Thursday 10th September (rescheduled), The topic is “ARCHITECTURE”.
Remember the format and labelling: file no deeper than 1080 px and no wider than 1920px, file size no larger than 5meg and labelled, e.g. 0919-themename in My Teapot.jpeg
Closing date for getting your images to Henk is Monday August 24th.
While only members may submit entries, anyone is welcome to attend the event.

Architectural photography is the photographing of buildings and similar structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and accurate representations of their subjects
What is Architectural Photography?
Architecture Photography is simply photographing the design aesthetics of buildings and structures. Includes tall buildings, bungalow houses, heritage sites, modern buildings, farm barns, bridges, warehouses, factories, and many more.
Definition of Architecture Photography
Definition would include any man-made construction, anything that is not a creation of nature, will have unique architectural features. Architectural images draw the viewer’s attention to lines, construction detail, design, structure and form. It includes the settings/context, surrounding landscape/environment (trees, fountains) etc.), interiors.
